4 Hearts Brewing is a Brewery in the heart of Ipswich city. The historic character-filled building that it inhabits is steeped in history and the proud location of the city's first water source. The water was from a naturally occurring spring so it is only fitting that a brewery occupies this space and continue to pour from the source.
Demo was first invited to rebrand the core identity, messaging and packaging. This later led to merchandise, sales material and environmental graphics and have remained a valued client for many years as their beers have become popular outside their immediate reach.
We immediately knew we wanted a brand and logo motif that would encapsulate its namesake. No easy challenge but we settled on a logo that is visibly a heart shape while also typographically capturing the numeral 4, and its initials H & B. This has become an iconic brand in the Australian craft beer industry and a design which we believe will hold the test of time while still fitting in with its historical surrounds.
